| How do the PurDerm products work? |
The PurDerm products are based on fruit acids with anti-bacterial and skin-softening properties. The other active ingredients have anti-inflammatory and calming properties which promote skin healing. |
| I am at present receiving dermatological treatment for light acne. Can I use the PurDerm products at the same time? |
The PurDerm products are ideally suited for use in conjunction with acne therapy. However, you should always discuss their application with your doctor. |
| I am almost 30 years old but I still have light acne. Are the PurDerm products suitable for my skin? |
The products are optimal for all those past puberty and they have the additional moisturizing properties which „older“ blemished skin requires. |
| I have a problem with pimples on my chest and back. Which products do you recommend? |
Use the products from the PurDerm series, they are formulated specially for pimples and comedones, and as supportive skin care in conjunction with acne treatment. They all have anti-inflammatory and skin calming properties and are particularly suitable for use on the back and chest. A special tip: for pimples which only appear sporadically you can use the oil-free Intensive Gel and once or twice a week the Peeling Mask which gently removes epidermal scales and helps normalize sebum flow. |
| Through the use of extremely drying skin products my skin has become flaky, even so I still suffer from blemishes that are under the skin. |
Despite your flaky skin you can still use the PurDerm series. It is suitable for people of all ages and also contains moisturising agents, which prevents skin dehydration. Tip: Use the PurDerm Peeling Mask every second day at first. The mask is based on fruit acids and gently removes epidermal scales, opens blocked pores and supports the normal sebum production. |

PurDerm Tinted Cream covers up pimples and mattes shiny skin. It also has calming and soothing effects and reduces the multiplication of bacteria. |
| I have blemished skin, with a tendency to form pimples. How long will I have to use your PurDerm products before I can expect results? |
During the dermatological studies the efficacy and skin-compatibility of the PurDerm products were confirmed being effective within the treatment period of four weeks. In that time inflamed skin was reduced by 80% on those skin areas treated with PurDerm and there was a noticeable reduction in skin blemishes. |
